00 HOUSE BILL NO. 169 01 "An Act relating to the authority of the Regulatory Commission of Alaska to regulate 02 the production and distribution of telephone directories." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 42.05.145 is amended by adding new subsections to read: 05 (b) Notwithstanding other provisions of this chapter, the commission may not 06 regulate the production and distribution of telephone directories in a competitive local 07 exchange market. 08 (c) In this section, "competitive local exchange market" means an area 09 designated by an order of the commission as a competitive local exchange market.
