00Enrolled HB 147 01 Extending the reporting date for and the termination date of the Comprehensive Autism Early 02 Diagnosis and Treatment Task Force; and providing for an effective date. 03 _______________ 04 * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska enacted in sec. 2(c), ch. 63, SLA 05 2012, is amended to read: 06 (c) The task force shall, not later than January 15, 2015 [2013], submit a 07 report to the legislature and the Governor. The report must include 08 (1) policy options to achieve a comprehensive autism spectrum 09 disorder early diagnosis and treatment program that results in coverage to the greatest 10 number of residents in the state; 11 (2) recommendations to the legislature and the Governor that include 12 draft legislation required to achieve the policy options proposed by the task force; 13 (3) an evaluation of the fiscal effect of the policy options proposed by

01 the task force that includes a five-year projection of both public sector and private 02 sector costs and expenditures; 03 (4) an analysis of how the implementation of P.L. 111-148 (Patient 04 Protection and Affordable Care Act) is expected to affect the options, 05 recommendations, and fiscal evaluations of the task force. 06 * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska enacted in sec. 2(g), ch. 63, SLA 2012, 07 is amended to read: 08 (g) The task force terminates on January 15, 2015 [2013], unless extended. 09 * Sec. 3. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 10 read: 11 RETROACTIVITY. This Act is retroactive to January 14, 2013. 12 * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
