00 HOUSE BILL NO. 147 01 "An Act extending the reporting date for and the termination date of the 02 Comprehensive Autism Early Diagnosis and Treatment Task Force; and providing for 03 an effective date." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska enacted in sec. 2(c), ch. 63, SLA 06 2012, is amended to read: 07 (c) The task force shall, not later than January 15, 2015 , submit a 08 report to the legislature and the Governor. The report must include 09 (1) policy options to achieve a comprehensive autism spectrum 10 disorder early diagnosis and treatment program that results in coverage to the greatest 11 number of residents in the state; 12 (2) recommendations to the legislature and the Governor that include 13 draft legislation required to achieve the policy options proposed by the task force; 14 (3) an evaluation of the fiscal effect of the policy options proposed by
01 the task force that includes a five-year projection of both public sector and private 02 sector costs and expenditures; 03 (4) an analysis of how the implementation of P.L. 111-148 (Patient 04 Protection and Affordable Care Act) is expected to affect the options, 05 recommendations, and fiscal evaluations of the task force. 06 * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is enacted in sec. 2(g), ch. 63, SLA 07 2012, is amended to read: 08 (g) The task force terminates on January 15, 2015 , unless extended. 09 * Sec. 3. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 10 read: 11 RETROACTIVITY. This Act is retroactive to January 14, 2013. 12 * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
