01 "An Act relating to crewmember fishing licenses."                                                                       
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 16.05.480(i) is amended to read:                                                                   
04            (i)  Notwithstanding (g) and (h) of this section, a resident or nonresident                                  
05       engaged in commercial fishing who does not hold an entry permit or an interim-use                                 
06       permit may obtain a seven-day crewmember fishing license under this subsection.                                   
07       During the period for which the license is valid, a person who holds a seven-day                                  
08       crewmember fishing license may not engage in fishing with a rod and reel while                                    
09       present on a commercial fishing vessel. The fee for a seven-day crewmember fishing                                
10       license is $60 [$30].
