01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Alaska regional economic assistance                                       
02 program; and providing for an effective date."                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. Section 2, ch. 43, SLA 2000, as amended by sec. 1, ch. 110, SLA 2003, sec. 1,                         
05 ch. 51, SLA 2005, and sec. 1, ch. 69, SLA 2008, is amended to read:                                                     
06            Sec. 2. AS 44.33.895 is repealed July 1, 2016 [2013].                                                    
07    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
08 read:                                                                                                                   
09       RETROACTIVITY. If sec. 1 of this Act takes effect on or after July 1, 2013, it is                                 
10 retroactive to July 1, 2013.                                                                                            
11    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
