00                  SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 28                                                                   
01 Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                         
02 Legislature, concerning House Joint Resolution No. 20, urging the President of the                                      
03 United States, the United States Congress, and the Secretary of the United States                                       
04 Department of Agriculture not to implement protection of inventoried roadless areas                                     
05 under the "roadless rule" or otherwise restrict the development of necessary                                            
06 hydroelectric projects in the Tongass National Forest and the Chugach National Forest.                                  
07 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
08       That under Rules 49(a) and 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the                                 
09 provisions of Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State                                      
10 Legislature, regarding changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of House                          
11 Joint Resolution No. 20, urging the President of the United States, the United States Congress,                         
12 and the Secretary of the United States Department of Agriculture not to implement protection                            
13 of inventoried roadless areas under the "roadless rule" or otherwise restrict the development                           
14 of necessary hydroelectric projects in the Tongass National Forest and the Chugach National
