01 "An Act relating to the duration of a certificate of compliance for an intrastate air                                   
02 service provider; and providing for an effective date."                                                                 
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. AS 02.40.020(b) is amended to read:                                                                   
05            (b)  The annual fee for a certificate of compliance for one aircraft and for a                               
06       fleet of two or more aircraft shall be set by the department by regulation. The                                   
07       certificate is valid for 12 months from the date issued [A CALENDAR YEAR]. The                                
08       certificate shall be visible to boarding passengers.                                                              
09    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
