01 "An Act disapproving all recommendations of the State Officers Compensation                                             
02 Commission relating to the compensation, benefits, and allowances of state officers; and                                
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                          
06 to read:                                                                                                                
07       DISAPPROVAL OF THE STATE OFFICERS COMPENSATION COMMISSION'S                                                       
08 RECOMMENDATIONS. The recommendations contained in the final report of the State                                         
09 Officers Compensation Commission relating to the compensation of members of the                                         
10 legislature, the governor, the lieutenant governor, and each principal executive department                             
11 head, made available under AS 39.23.540(d) to the governor and presiding officers of each                               
12 house of the legislature during the First Regular Session of the Twenty-Sixth Alaska State                              
13 Legislature, are disapproved.                                                                                           
14    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
