SB 90: "An Act making a special appropriation to the Department of Military and Veterans' Affairs to provide retirement benefits to members of the Alaska Territorial Guard; and providing for an effective date."

01 "An Act making a special appropriation to the Department of Military and Veterans'                                      
02 Affairs to provide retirement benefits to members of the Alaska Territorial Guard; and                                  
03 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. The sum of $100,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department                           
06 of Military and Veterans' Affairs for the purpose of paying military retirement benefits to                             
07 members of the Alaska Territorial Guard.                                                                                
08    * Sec. 2. The appropriation made by this Act lapses June 30, 2009.                                                 
09    * Sec. 3. Section 1 of this Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
