01 "An Act making a special appropriation for a life sciences innovation and learning                                      
02 facility at the University of Alaska Fairbanks; and providing for an effective date."                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $60,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the                                  
05 University of Alaska for the design and construction of, and utilities and equipment for, a life                        
06 sciences innovation and learning facility at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.                                        
07    * Sec. 2.  The appropriation made by this Act is for a capital project and lapses under                            
08 AS 37.25.020.                                                                                                           
09    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
