01 "An Act making special appropriations for bridge repairs and construction and road                                      
02 construction; and providing for an effective date."                                                                     
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $25,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the                                  
05 Department of Transportation and Public Facilities for the design, planning, and construction                           
06 of repairs to existing bridges and bridge infrastructure on the state highway system.                                   
07    * Sec. 2. The sum of $10,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department                           
08 of Transportation and Public Facilities for the construction of local service roads and trails                          
09 under AS 19.30.131.                                                                                                     
10    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect July 1, 2009.
