00 HOUSE BILL NO. 313 01 "An Act relating to the maintenance and repair of railroad crossings and rights-of-way 02 within railroad crossings." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 42.40 is amended by adding a new section to article 4 to read: 05 Sec. 42.40.320. Railroad crossing maintenance. The corporation is 06 responsible for the maintenance and repair of railroad crossings and rights-of-way 07 within railroad crossings. If the state or a municipality of the state performs 08 maintenance or repairs on a railroad crossing or a right-of-way within a railroad 09 crossing, the corporation shall reimburse the state or municipality for the cost of the 10 maintenance or repairs.
