00 HOUSE BILL NO. 261 01 "An Act requiring the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to publish on 02 the department's Internet website reports regarding contracts awarded for 03 transportation projects." 04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. AS 44.42.050 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 06 (f) When the department awards a contract for a project included in the list of 07 projects required under (d) of this section, the commissioner shall 08 (1) prepare and publish a report regarding the contract on the 09 department's Internet website; the report must identify the project and set out the 10 information required to be reported under AS 36.05.035(1) and the schedule for 11 completion of the contract; and 12 (2) update the report prepared and published under (1) of this 13 subsection to describe the progress of the contractor's work on the project and the 14 amount of funds that have been expended on the project under the contract; the
01 commissioner shall meet the requirement of this paragraph within 30 days after 02 payment to the contractor for satisfactory performance under AS 36.90.200 - 03 36.90.290. 04 * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 05 read: 06 APPLICABILITY. AS 44.42.050(f), added by sec. 1 of this Act, applies only to 07 contracts that are first entered into on or after the effective date of this Act.
