01 "An Act relating to the Joint Armed Services Committee and its Homeland Security and                                    
02 Emergency Management Subcommittee; and providing for an effective date."                                                
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1. Sections 3 and 4, ch. 6, SLA 1999, and sec. 23, ch. 179, SLA 2004, are                                
05 repealed.                                                                                                               
06    * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
07 read:                                                                                                                   
08       RETROACTIVITY AND REVIVAL. Under AS 01.10.090 and 01.10.100(c), the                                               
09 repeals made in this Act are retroactive to January 1, 2009, and revive AS 24.20.650,                                   
10 24.20.655, 24.20.660, 24.20.665, 24.20.670, 24.20.675, 24.20.680, and sec. 1, ch. 6, SLA                                
11 1999.                                                                                                                   
12    * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
