01 "An Act making a special appropriation to the Department of Health and Social                                           
02 Services for the Alaska senior benefits payment program; and providing for an effective                                 
03 date."                                                                                                                  
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  The sum of $20,163,100 is appropriated from the general fund to the                                  
06 Department of Health and Social Services for the Alaska senior benefits payment program for                             
07 the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008.                                                                                   
08    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
