01 "An Act repealing the sunset provision relating to senior care service; and providing for                               
02 an effective date."                                                                                                     
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  Section 4, ch. 3, SLA 2004, is repealed.                                                             
05    * Sec. 2.  The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                         
06 read:                                                                                                                   
07       CONTINGENT RETROACTIVITY AND REVIVAL.  If this Act takes effect on or                                             
08 after the events giving effect to the repeal under sec. 4, ch. 3, SLA 2004, sec. 1 of this Act is                       
09 retroactive to the day before the date of the repeal under sec. 4, ch. 3, SLA 2004, and secs. 1 -                       
10 3, ch. 3, SLA 2004, are revived.                                                                                        
11    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
