00                         HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 3                                                                         
01 Establishing a House Special Committee on Education.                                                                    
02 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:                                                                         
03       WHEREAS education is one of the top priorities of the state;                                                    
04       BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives that a House Special Committee                                   
05 on Education is established to study issues relating to education; and be it                                            
06       FURTHER RESOLVED that the speaker of the House of Representatives shall                                         
07 determine the number of representatives to be members of the committee and shall appoint                                
08 the members and designate a member to chair the committee; and be it                                                    
09       FURTHER RESOLVED that the House Special Committee on Education may meet                                         
10 during and between sessions of the Twenty-Fourth Alaska State Legislature and is terminated                             
11 on the convening of the First Session of the Twenty-Fifth Alaska State Legislature.
