00                   HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 6                                                                    
01 Relating to the continuation of the Alaska Information Infrastructure Policy Task Force                                 
02 until the first day of the First Regular Session of the Twenty-Fifth Alaska State                                       
03 Legislature in January 2007.                                                                                            
04 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
05       That the termination date of the Alaska Information Infrastructure Policy Task Force                              
06 established by Legislative Resolve 52, Twenty-Third Alaska State Legislature, is extended                               
07 until the first day of the First Regular Session of the Twenty-Fifth Alaska State Legislature;                          
08 and                                                                                                                     
09       That the original members of the Alaska Information Infrastructure Policy Task Force                              
10 shall continue to serve on the task force unless the member resigns from the task force or is                           
11 jointly removed from the task force by the president of the senate and speaker of the house of                          
12 representatives; and                                                                                                    
13       That a vacancy arising in the membership of the Alaska Information Infrastructure                                 
14 Policy Task Force shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment to the vacant                          
15 position; and                                                                                                           

01       That the Alaska Information Infrastructure Policy Task Force shall submit a final                                 
02 report of its findings, the long-term infrastructure plan, and any draft legislation the task force                     
03 finds necessary to meet the identified long-term infrastructure needs of the state to the                               
04 legislature by the first day of the First Regular Session of the Twenty-Fifth Alaska State                              
05 Legislature.
