01 "An Act amending the State Personnel Act to place in the exempt service pharmacists                                     
02 and physicians employed in the Department of Health and Social Services or in the                                       
03 Department of Corrections."                                                                                             
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1. AS 39.25.110(13) is amended to read:                                                                  
06                 (13)  the state medical examiner, deputy medical examiner, and                                          
07       assistant medical examiners appointed under AS 12.65.015 and pharmacists and                                  
08       physicians licensed to practice in this state and employed by [THE DIVISION OF                                    
09       MENTAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN] the Department                                                   
10       of Health and Social Services or by the Department of Corrections;
