00 HOUSE BILL NO. 485 01 "An Act amending the State Personnel Act to place in the exempt service pharmacists 02 and physicians employed in the Department of Health and Social Services or in the 03 Department of Corrections and corporate income tax forensic auditors employed by the 04 division of the Department of Revenue principally responsible for the collection and 05 enforcement of state taxes who specialize in apportionment analysis and tax shelters of 06 multistate corporate taxpayers; and providing for an effective date." 07 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 08 * Section 1. AS 39.25.110(13) is amended to read: 09 (13) the state medical examiner, deputy medical examiner, and 10 assistant medical examiners appointed under AS 12.65.015 and pharmacists and 11 physicians licensed to practice in this state and employed by [THE DIVISION OF 12 MENTAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN] the Department 13 of Health and Social Services or by the Department of Corrections;

AS 39.25.110(26) is amended to read: 02 (26) investment officers in the Department of Revenue, and corporate 03 income tax forensic auditors who are employed by the division in the Department 04 of Revenue principally responsible for the collection and enforcement of state 05 taxes and who specialize in apportionment analysis and tax shelters of multistate 06 corporate taxpayers; 07 * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect July 1, 2006.
