00 SENATE BILL NO. 210 01 "An Act regarding the computation of overtime compensation by employers before 02 June 2, 1999; and providing for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section 05 to read: 06 COMPUTATION OF OVERTIME COMPENSATION FOR EMPLOYMENT 07 BEFORE JUNE 2, 1999. The provisions of AS 23.10.060(b), as repealed and reenacted by 08 sec. 2, ch. 43, SLA 1999, apply to all claims under AS 23.10.060(b) for overtime based on 09 employment on and after July 1, 1990, and before June 2, 1999. 10 * Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 11 read: 12 RETROSPECTIVE APPLICATION. This Act applies retrospectively to all pending 13 administrative and judicial actions under AS 23.10.060(b) that are based on the calculation of 14 overtime for employment on or after July 1, 1990, and before June 2, 1999, and that are not
01 resolved by final court judgment or administrative decision on the effective date of this Act. 02 * Sec. 3. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
