00                           SENATE BILL NO. 134                                                                          
01 "An Act appropriating money for the construction of a state veterans' home; and                                         
02 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $13,650,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the                                  
05 Department of Administration for construction of a state veterans' home that has been                                   
06 approved for federal assistance under 38 U.S.C. 8131 - 8136.                                                            
07     * Sec. 2.  The appropriation made by this Act is for a capital project and lapses under                           
08 AS 37.25.020.                                                                                                           
09    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
