00 HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 7 01 Proposing an amendment to the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature relating 02 to executive sessions of legislative bodies; and providing for an effective date for the 03 amendment. 04 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 05 * Section 1. Rule 22(b), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, is amended to read: 06 (b) A legislative body may call an executive session at which members of the 07 general public may be excluded for the following reasons: 08 (1) discussion of matters, the immediate knowledge of which would 09 adversely affect the finances of a government unit; 10 (2) discussion of subjects that tend to prejudice the reputation and 11 character of a person; 12 (3) discussion of a matter that may, by law, be required to be 13 confidential; 14 (4) discussion of a matter that affects the security of the state or 15 nation, or that affects the security of a governmental unit or agency.
