01 "An Act relating to permits issued by the state."                                                                       
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 46.35 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                 
04                       Article 3.  Permit Challenges.                                                                  
05            Sec. 46.35.400.  Permit challenges.  Work on a project for which a permit has                              
06       been issued may be enjoined in a judicial or administrative proceeding only if the                                
07       challenge is based on new scientific information or newly recognized local traditional                            
08       knowledge.
