01 "An Act relating to the constitutional right to privacy."                                                               
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 01.10 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                 
04                Article 5.  Implementation of the Right to Privacy.                                                    
05            Sec. 01.10.120.  Implementation of the right to privacy.  (a)  The right of the                            
06       people to privacy set out in art. I, sec. 22, Constitution of the State of Alaska, does not                       
07       create a right to receive public money, a public benefit, or a public service.                                    
08            (b)  This section is enacted as part of the legislature's obligation to implement                            
09       the constitutional right to privacy under art. I, sec. 22, Constitution of the State of                           
10       Alaska.                                                                                                         
11    * Sec. 2.  AS 18.80 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
12            Sec. 18.80.205.  Application of constitutional right to privacy to AS 18.80.                               
13       AS 01.10.120 applies to this chapter.                                                                             
14    * Sec. 3.  AS 47.05 is amended by adding a new section to read:                                                    
15            Sec. 47.05.110.  Application of constitutional right to privacy to this title.
