00 SENATE BILL NO. 111 01 "An Act relating to financing facilities for municipal ports and harbors; and providing 02 for an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska enacted in sec. 10(e), ch. 130, SLA 05 2000, is amended to read: 06 (e) Subject to appropriation, the proceeds of bonds issued under 07 (1) (a) of this section shall be used by the Department of Education 08 and Early Development to pay for construction, renovation, and improvement of 09 public schools as follows: 10 PROJECT 11 Lower Yukon - Pilot Station School Replacement $17,654,000 12 Lower Yukon - Kotlik School Replacement 17,911,000 13 Kashunamiut - Chevak School Replacement 28,273,000 14 Bering Strait Schools

AS 29.60.700 is repealed. 30 * Sec. 3. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 31 read:

01 RETROACTIVITY. Sections 1 and 2 of this Act are retroactive to July 1, 2000. 02 * Sec. 4. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
