00 SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 527(RES) am S 01 "An Act relating to entry into the Minto Flats State Game Refuge for purposes of 02 exploration and development of oil and gas resources." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 16.20.037 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 05 (h) Entry upon the Minto Flats State Game Refuge for purposes of exploration 06 and development of oil and gas resources shall be permitted unless a person 07 demonstrates, on the basis of sound science or local traditional knowledge, that 08 exploration and development is incompatible with the purposes specified in (b) of this 09 section.
