01 "An Act allowing an employee's wage to be reduced below the minimum wage to                                             
02 provide adequate health care."                                                                                          
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 23.10.065 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                          
05            (d)  An employer, with the agreement of the employee, may pay up to $2 less                                  
06       than the hourly wage required under (a) of this section if the amount of the reduction                            
07       is used by the employer to provide adequate health care as defined by the                                         
08       commissioner.
