01 "An Act establishing the permit fee for the personal use dip net fisheries for the Kenai                                
02 River and the Kasilof River; and providing for an effective date."                                                      
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 16.05.340(a) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                        
05                      (25)  Personal use dip net fishing permit for the Kenai River and                                  
06            the Kasilof River..........................................................................................$1
07            A person may not be required to possess a sport fishing license in order to                                  
08            purchase a dip net fishing permit under this paragraph.  A person who obtains a                              
09            dip net fishing permit under this paragraph shall present proof of residency at                              
10            the time of purchase of the permit.                                                                          
11    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2001.
