00HOUSE BILL NO. 340 01 "An Act relating to designating the Ketchikan Indian Corporation as a regional 02 housing authority." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. AS 18.55.996(a) is amended to read: 05 (a) The following associations are given the authority specified in (b) of this 06 section: 07 (1) Arctic Slope Native Association (Barrow and Point Hope); 08 (2) Kawerak, Inc. (Seward Peninsula, Unalakleet, St. Lawrence Island); 09 (3) Northwest Alaska Native Association (Kotzebue); 10 (4) Association of Village Council Presidents (southwest coast of 11 Alaska including all villages in the Bethel area and all villages on the Lower Yukon 12 River and Lower Kuskokwim River); 13 (5) Tanana Chiefs Conference (Koyukuk, the middle and upper Yukon 14 River villages , and the upper Kuskokwim and Tanana River villages);
01 (6) Cook Inlet Tribal Council (Kenai, Tyonek, Eklutna , and Seldovia); 02 (7) Bristol Bay Native Association (Dillingham, Upper Alaska 03 Peninsula); 04 (8) Aleut League (Aleutian Islands, Pribilof Islands , and that part of the 05 Alaska Peninsula that is in the Aleut League); 06 (9) North Pacific Rim Native Corp. (Cordova, Tatitlek, Port Graham, 07 English Bay, Valdez, Seward, Eyak , and Chenega); 08 (10) Tlingit-Haida Central Council or Alaska Native Brotherhood 09 (Southeastern Alaska); 10 (11) Kodiak Area Native Association (all villages on and around 11 Kodiak Island); 12 (12) Copper River Native Association (Copper Center, Glennallen, 13 Chitina , and Mentasta); 14 (13) Alaska Federation of Natives, Inc.; 15 (14) Sitka Community Association (Baranof and Japonski Island); 16 (15) Metlakatla Indian Community (Metlakatla) ; 17 (16) Ketchikan Indian Corporation (Ketchikan area, excluding 18 Saxman) .
