PUBLIC SCHOOL FACILITIES; FACILITIES FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF 06 ALASKA; AND FACILITIES FOR PORTS AND HARBORS. 01 (3) the state completes a bill of sale transferring the port or harbor facility from 02 the state to the municipality. 03 (e) In this section, "subsidiary of the corporation" means a subsidiary corporation of 04 the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation created under a statute enacted by the Twenty-First 05 Alaska State Legislature that permits the corporation to create subsidiary corporations for the 06 purpose of financing or facilitating the financing of school construction, facilities for the 07 University of Alaska, or facilities for ports and harbors. 08 * Sec. 2. The appropriations made by this Act are for capital projects and lapse under 09 AS 37.25.020. 10 * Sec. 3. CONTINGENT EFFECTIVE DATE. This Act takes effect only if a bill is 11 passed by the Twenty-First Alaska State Legislature and is enacted into law that authorizes 12 the commissioner of revenue to sell to the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation the right to 13 receive a portion of the revenue derived from the settlement of State of Alaska v. Philip 14 Morris, Incorporated, et al, No. IJU-97-915CI (Alaska Super. 1997) and authorizes the Alaska 15 Housing Finance Corporation or a subsidiary of the corporation to issue revenue bonds. In 16 this section, "subsidiary of the corporation" has the meaning given in sec. 1 of this Act. 17 * Sec. 4. If this Act takes effect under sec. 3 of this Act, it takes effect July 1, 2000.
