01 "An Act placing the administrative director of the court system in the public                                           
02 employees' retirement system; and providing for an effective date."                                                     
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 22.25.090(c) is amended to read:                                                                    
05  (c)  In this section, "dependent child" means an unmarried child of a justice [,]                                    
06 or judge [, OR ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR] who is dependent on the justice or                                           
07 [,] judge [, OR ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR] for support and who is either (1)                                              
08 less than 19 years old, or (2) less than 23 years old and registered at and attending on                                
09 a full-time basis an accredited educational or technical institution recognized by the                                  
10 Department of Education.  The age limits set out in this subsection do not apply to a                                   
11 child who is totally and permanently disabled.                                                                          
12    * Sec. 2.  AS 22.25.012; AS 39.35.158, and 39.35.680(21)(C)(vii) are repealed.                                       
13    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
