00SPONSOR SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 366(title am) 01 "An Act prohibiting a court from finding that a minor is a child in need of 02 aid solely on the basis that the child's family is poor, lacks adequate housing, 03 or lives a lifestyle that is different from the generally accepted lifestyle standard 04 of the community where the family lives." 05 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 06 * Section 1. AS 47.10.010 is amended by adding a new subsection to read: 07  (f) The court may not find a minor to be a child in need of aid under this 08 section solely on the basis that the child's family is poor, lacks adequate housing, or 09 lives a lifestyle that is different from the generally accepted lifestyle standard of the 10 community where the family lives. However, this subsection may not be construed to 11 prevent a court from finding that a child is in need of aid if the child has been 12 subjected to conduct or conditions described in (a) of this section.
