00SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 39                                                                                     
01 Suspending Uniform Rules 47 and 55 of the Alaska State Legislature relating to                                          
02 the carryover of a bill to a special session.                                                                           
03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
04  That under Rule 54 of the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature the provisions                                 
05 of Rule 47 of the Uniform Rules, regarding the carryover of bills, and the provisions of Rule                           
06 55 of the Uniform Rules, regarding the use of Mason's Manual of Legislative Procedure to                                
07 cover situations not directly addressed by the Uniform Rules, are suspended to the extent they                          
08 prohibit the carryover of a bill from the Second Regular Session to a special session of the                            
09 Nineteenth Alaska State Legislature; and be it                                                                          
10  FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution applies only to Senate Bill 197; and be                                          
11 it                                                                                                                      
12  FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is retroactive to the beginning of the First                                     
13 Special Session of the Nineteenth Alaska State Legislature.
