01 "An Act making a special appropriation for the consumer protection division; and                                        
02 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $495,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Department                            
05 of Law for the consumer protection division for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1997.                                   
06    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1996.
