01 "An Act making a special appropriation to the principal of the longevity bonus                                          
02 fund; and providing for an effective date."                                                                             
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  $1,000,000,000 is appropriated from the earnings reserve account                                       
05 (AS 37.13.145) to the principal of the longevity bonus fund (AS 47.45.005).  This                                       
06 appropriation is for capitalization of a fund and does not lapse under AS 37.25.010.                                    
07    * Sec. 2.  Section 1 of this Act takes effect only if a bill passed by the Nineteenth Alaska                         
08 State Legislature that establishes the longevity bonus fund and the bonus payment fund is                               
09 enacted into law.                                                                                                       
10    * Sec. 3.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1996.
