01 "An Act changing the name of the Alaska Soil and Water Conservation Board."                                             
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 41.10.040 is amended to read:                                                                       
04  Sec. 41.10.040.  NATURAL RESOURCE [SOIL AND WATER]                                                                  
05 CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD.  The Alaska Natural Resource                                                    
06 [SOIL AND WATER] Conservation and Development Board is composed of five                                               
07 members.  The commissioner or, in the absence of the commissioner, the director of                                      
08 agriculture, serves ex officio but without a vote on the board.                                                         
09    * Sec. 2.  AS 41.10.140(1) is amended to read:                                                                       
10   (1)  "board" means the Alaska Natural Resource [SOIL AND WATER]                                                    
11 Conservation and Development Board;
