01 "An Act allowing a dentist to delegate certain duties to a dental assistant."                                           
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 08.32.110 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                            
04  (d)  This section does not prohibit a dental assistant from applying topical                                          
05 preventive or prophylactic agents or pit and fissure sealants when those duties have                                    
06 been delegated to the assistant by a dentist licensed under AS 08.36 or by a dentist                                    
07 exempt from licensure under AS 08.36.350(a)(2).
