00HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 39                                                                                      
01 Suspending Uniform Rules 47 and 55 of the Alaska State Legislature relating to                                          
02 the carry over of bills to a special session.                                                                           
03 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                               
04  That under Rule 54 of the Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the                                           
05 provisions of Rule 47 of the Uniform Rules, regarding the carry over of bills, and the                                  
06 provisions of Rule 55 of the Uniform Rules, regarding the use of Mason's Manual of                                      
07 Legislative Procedure to cover situations not directly addressed by the Uniform Rules, are                              
08 suspended to the extent they prohibit the carry over of bills and resolutions from the Second                           
09 Regular Session to a special session of the Eighteenth Alaska State Legislature; and be it                              
10  FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution applies only to those bills and resolutions                                      
11 that relate to the matters set out in the governor's proclamation for the special session; and                          
12 be it                                                                                                                   
13  FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is retroactive to the beginning of the First                                     
14 Special Session of the Eighteenth Alaska State Legislature.
