01 "An Act relating to reports by the Alaska Science and Technology Foundation."                                           
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  REPORTS BY THE ALASKA SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY                                                           
04 FOUNDATION.  By the effective date of this Act, the Alaska Science and Technology                                       
05 Foundation shall submit reports to the governor and to the legislature concerning the                                   
06 following:                                                                                                              
07   (1)  the minimum length of time reasonably necessary to wind up its current                                           
08 affairs preparatory to discontinuance of the foundation's existence; and                                                
09   (2)  the amount of money in the foundation's funds, including the Alaska                                              
10 science and technology endowment (AS 37.17.020), the BIDCO fund (AS 37.17.210), and                                     
11 any other money, that could be returned to the general fund after termination of the                                    
12 foundation.
