00HOUSE BILL NO. 441 01 "An Act reducing certain appropriations for fiscal year 1994; and providing for 02 an effective date." 03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 04 * Section 1. Except as provided in secs. 2 - 3 of this Act, that portion of each 05 appropriation item contained in sec. 38, ch. 65, SLA 1993 that is funded from general fund 06 sources is reduced by 0.83 percent. 07 * Sec. 2. Section 1 of this Act does not apply to the following appropriation items: 08 (1) sec. 38, ch. 65, SLA 1993, page 11, line 6 (Department of Administration - Longevity Bonus); 09 (2) sec. 38, ch. 65, SLA 1993, page 13, line 6 (Department of Administration - Leases); 10 (3) sec. 38, ch. 65, SLA 1993, page 14, line 27 (Department of Education - 11 Additional District Support); 12 (4) sec. 38, ch. 65, SLA 1993, page 17, line 34 (Department of Health and 13 Social Services - Assistance Payments); 14 (5) sec. 38, ch. 65, SLA 1993, page 18, line 10 (Department of Health and

Section 29, ch. 65, SLA 1993, is amended to read: 08 Sec. 29. The sum of $28,402,000 [$28,715,800] is appropriated from the 09 general fund to the Alaska marine highway system fund (AS 19.65.060) to continue 10 to provide stable services to the public. 11 * Sec. 5. In this Act, "general fund" means general fund match, general fund receipts, 12 general fund/program receipts, or general fund/mental health trust. 13 * Sec. 6. This Act is retroactive to July 1, 1993. 14 * Sec. 7. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
