01 "An Act amending schedule IIA of the schedules of controlled substances                                                 
02 applicable to offenses relating to controlled substances to add the drug                                                
03 methcathinone, commonly identified as `cat.'"                                                                           
04 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
05    * Section 1.  AS 11.71.150(b) is amended by adding a new paragraph to read:                                          
06   (21)  2-methylamino-1-phenylpropan-1-one, also known as                                                              
07 methcathinone, ephedrone, and cat.
