01 "An Act repealing the statutory pay increments for longevity in state service."                                         
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1.  AS 39.27.022 is repealed.                                                                              
04    * Sec. 2.  On and after the effective date of this Act, the salary of a state employee who                           
05 is subject to AS 39.27.011 and who was entitled to a pay increment under former                                         
06 AS 39.27.022 shall be paid according to the salary schedule set out in AS 39.27.011.
