01 "An Act relating to longevity bonus payments for certain nursing home residents;                                        
02 and providing for an effective date."                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  AS 47.45.070(c) is amended to read:                                                                    
05  (c)  Notwithstanding (a)(2) of this section, a person who resides in a nursing                                        
06 home who meets the age and residence requirements of this chapter qualifies for the                                     
07 bonus if the costs of care of the person at the nursing home are paid for entirely from                                 
08 nonstate [PRIVATE] sources.                                                                                           
09    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect July 1, 1993.
