01 "An Act making a special appropriation to the constitutional budget reserve fund                                        
02 of certain money obtained in settlement with British Petroleum America for                                              
03 resolution of disputes over taxes arising under the state's worldwide unitary                                           
04 apportionment income tax; and providing for an effective date."                                                         
05 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
06    * Section 1.  A sum equal to the amount that is required to be deposited into the general                            
07 fund during fiscal year 1993 as the result of the settlement of disputes between the State of                           
08 Alaska and British Petroleum America over taxes arising under the state's worldwide unitary                             
09 apportionment income tax is appropriated from the general fund to the  budget reserve fund                              
10 established under art. IX, sec. 17 of the Constitution of the State of Alaska.                                          
11    * Sec. 2.  This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
