01 "An Act making a supplemental appropriation for costs of elections operations;                                          
02 and providing for an effective date."                                                                                   
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  (a) The sum of $284,663 is appropriated from the general fund to the Office                            
05 of the Governor, division of elections, to pay for costs of elections operations through                                
06 April 30, 1993.                                                                                                         
07  (b) The appropriation in (a) of this section represents a reduction of $27,600 from the                                
08 amount stated in the version of this Act that passed the House of Representatives.  The                                 
09 reduction is to be allocated as follows:                                                                                
10   ($11,000): the cost of two temporary employees from February 15-April                                                
11 30 (not included in the earlier $391,500 submission)                                                                    
12    ($5,600): overtime due Romayne Kareem                                                                                
13    ($2,700): travel for the Director and Administrative Officer                                                         
14    ($8,300): REAA/CRSA printing and binding.
