00CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 14(L&C)                                                                                           
01 "An Act making an appropriation for capitalization of the BIDCO fund; and                                               
02 providing for an effective date."                                                                                       
03 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
04    * Section 1.  The sum of $3,000,000 is appropriated from the earnings reserve of the                                 
05 Alaska science and technology endowment to the BIDCO fund (AS 37.17.210) for                                            
06 capitalization of the fund.                                                                                             
07    * Sec. 2.  Section 1 of this Act is amended to read:                                                                 
08  Section 1.  The sum of $10,000,000 [$3,000,000] is appropriated from the                                            
09 earnings reserve of the Alaska science and technology endowment to the BIDCO fund                                       
10 (AS 37.17.210) for capitalization of the fund.                                                                          
11    * Sec. 3.  The appropriation made by this Act is for capitalization of an assistance fund and                        
12 does not lapse.                                                                                                         
13    * Sec. 4.  Sections 1 and 3 of this Act take effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).                               
14    * Sec. 5.  Section 2 of this Act takes effect July 1, 1994.
