01 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Professional Counselors;                                         
02 extending the termination date of the Board of Marital and Family Therapy; extending                                    
03 the termination date of the Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate                                           
04 Examiners; extending the termination date of the Real Estate Commission; extending                                      
05 the termination date of the Board of Social Work Examiners; and providing for an                                        
06 effective date."                                                                                                        
07 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
08    * Section 1. AS 08.03.010(c)(6) is amended to read:

09    * Sec. 6. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
10 read:                                                                                                                   
11       EXEMPTION FROM AS 44.66.050(e). This Act is exempt from the provision of                                          
12 AS 44.66.050(e) that prohibits a bill from continuing or reestablishing more than one board or                          
13 commission.                                                                                                             
14    * Sec. 7. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to                          
15 read:                                                                                                                   
16       RETROACTIVITY. This Act is retroactive to July 1, 2026.                                                           
17    * Sec. 8. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
