01 "An Act relating to the day care assistance program."                                                                   
02 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:                                                                
03    * Section 1. AS 47.25.001 is amended by adding a new subsection to read:                                           
04            (c)  The department may allow a child care provider to participate in the day                                
05       care assistance program under AS 47.25.001 - 47.25.095 without requiring the                                      
06       provider to obtain a high school diploma or pass a high school equivalency test.
