01 Authorizing the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation to acquire or purchase a building that it                            
02 occupies for an amount that does not exceed $8,000,000; and providing for an effective date.

04    * Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section                            
05 to read:                                                                                                                
06 AUTHORIZING THE ALASKA HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION TO                                                                   
07 ACQUIRE OR PURCHASE A BUILDING. (a) The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is                                           
08 authorized to acquire or purchase the building that it currently occupies located at 700 Bragaw                         
09 Street, Anchorage, Alaska, for an amount that does not exceed $8,000,000.                                               
10       (b)  This section constitutes the approval required by AS 18.55.100(d) and                                        
11 AS 18.56.090(d) for the acquisition or purchase described in (a) of this section.                                       
12    * Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).
